Many face challenge in cleaning a truck as most of the cleaner is less effective in removing the contaminant on the truck body. Right now with the help of EC -Truck Cleaner, it ease the entire cleaning activity.
Cleaning a truck can often feel like a daunting maintenance task, especially when the vehicle is coated in thick dirt and grime. The situation becomes more challenging when grease or oil deposits are present, which is common in trucks carrying palm oil fruit. The lipid grease from the fruit can create a tough layer on the truck’s surface, making it even harder to clean.
Removing heavy grease requires chemical cleaner, nylon scrubbing, or high-pressure water jets. A thorough cleaning becomes essential, particularly before PUSPAKOM inspections, where a clean truck is a requirement. Often, trucks that haven’t been properly cleaned are easy to spot on the road, signaling overdue maintenance.
How to Clean a Truck: Step-by-Step
To clean a truck effectively, it’s important to divide the task into two parts: the head and the body. The head includes the front compartment, where the engine is housed, while the body is the larger rear section, typically covered in thick grease and dirt.
For the best results, we recommend using Truck Cleaner, a specially formulated detergent designed for cleaning large trucks and lorries. Given the truck’s large surface area, the following tools will help simplify the cleaning process:
- Truck Cleaner Sprayer
- Nylon Scrubber
- High-Pressure Water Jet
Step 1: Dilute the Truck Cleaner Solution
Since Truck Cleaner is highly concentrated, dilution is necessary. We recommend a 1:4 ratio, which ensures efficient cleaning while keeping costs down. This ratio allows the solution to work effectively without wasting excessive product.
Step 2: Apply the Diluted Truck Cleaner
Once the solution is diluted, spray it evenly across the truck body. Pre-wetting the surface isn’t required, so you can immediately begin applying the cleaner. After the entire truck is sprayed, follow up with manual scrubbing.
Step 3: Scrub the Truck Surface
Manual scrubbing with a nylon brush is essential for loosening the dirt and grease, especially on areas like wooden panels. As you scrub, you’ll notice the contaminants being removed. You could use high pressure water jet to spray the truck body if manual scrub is not available.
Watch out the spill water as it may contain chemical cleaner solution which shall not get in touch with skin or eyes.
Step 4: Rinse with a High-Pressure Water Jet
After scrubbing, use a high-pressure water jet to thoroughly rinse off the dirt and cleaner residue. If you don’t have access to a high-pressure jet, regular water spray can also be used, but it may take more effort to wash away all the residues.
Safety First: Wear Appropriate PPE
It’s important to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while using Truck Cleaner, even if the solution has been diluted. PPE is standard practice in chemical handling industries worldwide, and it’s crucial to protect yourself from potential harm during the cleaning process. While PPE may not always be widely adopted in Malaysia, unfortunately wearing appropriate PPE is a mandatory action from our perspective.
Experience the Difference
Cleaning a truck with Truck Cleaner delivers noticeable results. This powerful detergent is a must-have for any truck maintenance routine. We encourage you to try it yourself and see the remarkable difference in cleanliness it provides.
